It seems like everyone talks about how amazing the Raspberry Pi $35 computer is because it can be anything. However, so far projects using it, whether professionally produced or 3d printed, are just boring form fitting cases. If the pi can be anything from a home automation system, retro video game system, media center, plant waterer, or countless other things, then shouldn’t the cases reflect that?
With that in mind, I designed this NES themed case that fits a pi, a 7” lcd panel, a full battery pack, speakers and 2 controllers. When closed it resembles an NES, when open it feels a little like a keyboardless laptop. A retractable handle on the back side makes it easy to transport and the battery provides about 5 hours run time.
