I know I've been in hiding and haven't kept up with this site. I appologize. Work had kept me busy programming for everyone other than myself, so I quit my advertising
job to begin a company with one of my closest friends, Andrew Cox. We formed Matterform, and together we've launched our first product.
NEWS!
Introducing the Photon by Matterform.
The world's first truly affordable 3D scanner for home use.
The photon allows anyone to take a physical object and turn it into a digital 3D model on their computer. From there, you can print your file on any 3D printer or online printing service. Or, use the model you created in an animation or video game.

More news! The Budweiser Redlight Launches!
Yes all the cryptic circuitboard photos I was posting to Facebook were of this badboy. I wasn't allowed to say until it launched, so now I can. I developed a slew of prototypes for Budweiser Canada.
From ethernet to wifi I was eating and sleeping Eagle PCB, etching circuitboards and doing CAD work for the original parts.
What is it? In short, it's a wifi connected device you install in your home. You download an app, set it to your hockey team of choice. When they score a goal the light goes off, just like the one on the actual rink.
Programming wise: The light is connected to the internet and polling a data service to find out if a goal is scored. I'll post up more photos and info once I actually have TIME again. Phew!
I've been able to work with some pretty amazing clients such as Bell, Coke, Audi, Stella Artois, Corona, Vitamin Water, Powerade, Workopolis, Boston Pizza, Mackenzie Financial, Budweiser, Mini, and the Toronto Zoo, to name just a few.
Here's a very small selection of some of that work.
