(19976) Total emails in database
Add about +2500 missing emails to that as I didn't start sending the emails to a database until November 2006. (a year and a half after genpets was created) Oh well. I doubt anyone will read more than 50 so That's still more than enough reading.

I guarantee your company is receiving alot of these complaint emails from many people over the world. I just feel that I must say a few words about you new technologies and what they are capable of turning the world into. I 100% support the research and experimentation of biogenetics for medical and scientific purposes. I DO personally condone the use of these technologies for public amusement. I would support your company/corporation in the research of these technologies to possibly cure genetic disorders such as Parkinson's disease and others. Also I must say that your choice to market these technologies to children is incoherently absurd and just flat out wrong. Can you imagine what children will grown up thinking of the life of others. I can forsee it now a child being in control of an "actual" living creature to that extent would look at life from a monetary and low point of view. Household pets as your company has also suggested do not compare to these new "Genpets" household pets do not come in a hibernation package that you can just go out and purchase and make them come alive. There are many life values in question with this product so I must conclude that I sincerely hope your product does not receive legal permission to be sold or even manufactured at some "farm" as your company has explained. Thank oyu for your time reading this and I do wish luck in bioengineering research just not to this extent.

I just finished reading everything about this new invention and i think it is absolutly absered. This should not be legal in the United States, this little creature is made for children? how are we suppose to explain why they have to die, do you have any idea how hard it is for a child to go through something like this? have you thought about how it will affect their lives! please explain to me why you people feel like this would be a good idea? to make money? of course.

i think your genpets are not real and if they are how could you make that animal suffer in a box !! you cant make it icolated like that and if you say hes energetic for example how can he be when hes in there!! duh!!
