(19982) Total emails in database
Add about +2500 missing emails to that as I didn't start sending the emails to a database until November 2006. (a year and a half after genpets was created) Oh well. I doubt anyone will read more than 50 so That's still more than enough reading.

u guys are full of shit. My genpet is really hairy and is shedding. i want my money back! my kid died of allegies!! My genpet crawled into the toaster. When i use remote control it activates my genpet. When i turn on MTV it starts dancing.
I think that Genpets are wrong to invent on so many levels. Introduction to new species lead to negative effects on diversity and our environment. By just creating a bio-engineered living organsim like this can lead to the creation of even more alien species and it can bring in new diseases. I do not and will never support this prouct and I know that I am not the only one.
i can't believe what you are doing to those animals. You are so beyond immoral. You aren't just playing god you are making live animals into nothing better than just toys that you can modify to fit your liking. A live animal is just that. A live animal. You should not be able to modify an animal, you chose an animal that you like as it comes. Designing your own pet ruins the integrity of that animal's personality.
The bottom line is humans are animals, too. Would you buy your child in a plastic package designed to be essentially perfect? Could you live with yourself knowing that you chose the genes that you child was born with? That ruins humanity.
Humans have flaws, their pets should, too.
Interbreeding, which has been around for years, does not tread on the same territory as your business despite what you may claim on your website. Even in interbreeding there is always the chance that the offspring might have some undesirable traits. However, in your genetic engineering there's no room for a flaw. That single flaw which could make a world of difference between a lovable pet and a cold cruel animal.
No matter what i might write to you i am sure that your company will still try to push your product on the mainstream. But what in the world makes you think that your company has any chance? If stem cell research is still somewhat taboo, your business is light years away from seeing and major sales.

How inhumane. how could you possibly package a living being and sell it as if it were an inanimate object.If it truly is a living breathing animal it deserves the rights of one.
And besides why in the world would you "invent" an animal that can only wiggle, how pathetic is that? An animal that can only wiggle and mumble and that is virtually hairless. what kind of animal is that? if i ever had a pet such as your Genpets i would feel compelled to chuck it at the nearest wall.
however, i wouldn't for it wasn't the poor creature's fault that you asshole biological engineers decided to manufacture, sell and package the genetically modified disaster which is your genpet creation.
if you guys even believe in hell, i guarantee you'll have a space there.
i am writing to complain about your false advertisment, you are leading people into thinking that this particular product is actually available and real, in fact there is no such thing and it is just a scam "to test our ethical values". This particualr product is aimed at children and what child is going to know even what ethical values are. You are falsely giving them hope thinking that they might be recieving a "friend" that a child can look after as their own and it doesnt not exist!!! I think that YOUR web page should have clearly stated that this is a fake product. I think you owe all your visitors to this webpage an apology!!!!!!
