(19985) Total emails in database
Add about +2500 missing emails to that as I didn't start sending the emails to a database until November 2006. (a year and a half after genpets was created) Oh well. I doubt anyone will read more than 50 so That's still more than enough reading.

My Genpet isn't doing anything, I couldn't find a place to put fresh batteries, but then my gf pointed out that I could shove the batteries up my arse, as I was paying attention to it more than her, so it gave me an idea.
However, now that the Genpet (I call him Fitz) has fresh batteries, he/she is making a very strange noise.
Should I remove the batteries & put in fresh ones? If so, how do I get the batteries back out of the "compartment"?
I am an ecologist, thus it is very difficult for me to criticize products made in the name of science(!)however I have to tell you that I have not seen anything more ugly and monster-like than the genpet. I heard about it in the radio and I wanted to see myself that this exists! I am a parent and I hope your products will not go very far and other parents as well as me will not trust your genius discovery. It would be good to invest your scientific expertise in something else. Thank you.
