Add about +2500 missing emails to that as I didn't start sending the emails to a database until November 2006. (a year and a half after genpets was created) Oh well. I doubt anyone will read more than 50 so That's still more than enough reading.

I really love animals and dont know what to think about this. I would really like to see one and I wanted to know if there was any way i could get a job maybe testing them. Im 18 graduated Salutatorian of my class and i have taken Physics and Chemistry along with the basic science classes. I want a carrer that deals with animals but havent been successful in finding one that would be a good idea. when i saw this website i imediatly feel in love with this cute little animal. I would love to help with them and i can take care of more high tech animals so i figure i could help with this one. Also how do these do with other animals and will they respond to thier name?

this is sick and wrong. how dare you create something out of a living thing. this has to be the sickest thing i have ever seen. this should be stopped immediately i'm surprised the government havent come and arrested you for being such a sick minded thing. how can you live with yourself!! i would like to know more information about this and the process that creates them so please email back

You really have no self respect or respect for life. Good luck with your frankenpets (I cant imagine who would want this) After all just because its possible doesn't mean its a good idea. I don't know what to make of this. Well consider that a person can buy a pet that is 1 attractive and cute 2 cheap 3 healthy and will live for many years. 4 active like a puppy or a kitten. This really isnt the way to go.. rather stick to things people can relate to and enjoy, not too closely though, if it starts resembling a human or has human dna that totally freaks me out. Just look at it, some groutesque wiggling abnormality that just lays there like a wimpering pathetic excuse of life. This really is the freakiest and morally wrong thing Ive seen in years.I hope there isnt any human dna in that monstrosity. Do you have any respect for life??
What about disease? have you ever thought about the possibility of animal diseases jumping species if you incorporate human dna in animals? "Look! a cow that makes human milk thats great" - does ANYONE think about the chances that virusses/diseases might mutate to jump from one species to another. like mad cows disease.
Nature has imposed these barriers for good reason, remember that millions of years of evolution has crafted the designs youre mutilating. I feel so sorry for this creature, it will never know what it means to be alive....

What exactly are these "Gen Pets"? I know you say they are technology engineered pets, but how exactly do you make them? What breed cross are they? Do they eat? If so, what? I have not read your website so I woundn't know.
