Add about +2500 missing emails to that as I didn't start sending the emails to a database until November 2006. (a year and a half after genpets was created) Oh well. I doubt anyone will read more than 50 so That's still more than enough reading.

Are the Genpets a social experiment? or is it a true living being. I'm thinking this isn't a real thing or being, just a way to measure the people reactions around the possibility of sale of a packed kind of a genetically created animal...
Is this a joke? Do you have any video footage of the gen pet available anywhere?

I really don't know how to start this hehe.
I've just received an email from someone who was VERY scared about these Genpets. That someone even created a kind of boycott email, telling people to spread the email an not to buy the Genpets.
Personally I still can't believe this is true, I know there still are lots of regulations on this matter, and unfortunately there are a lot of organizations based on ethics and stuff.
I'm 100 % pro for the manipulation of genes hehe. So this makes me a happy guy.
I really didn't read your whole website, but I noticed you are situated in Australia.
Anyway, this message is more like a congratulation message, if this is real (which I strongly doubt) keep it up.
But I lean more to my other idea, I think you have to be a group of students, making some kind of research, and DAMN !! I really congratulate you, whatever you wanted to achieve, you did it BIG TIME !!
I don't know when did you started with this, but because this is done in such a good way, I'll provide you with some information you may wanted to gain my self.
I live in the Netherlands, I'm 27, I knew about the Genpets through an email my brother sent me today, this email was forwarded to my brother by a guy probably from Colombia. I like the idea, and I hope all the ethical organizations stop blocking our advances to the future.
Once again, EXCELLENT JOB GUYS !! you really deserve the best grade for this, if you don't get it.... make this idea come true, then your teachers will feel pretty bad in the future by watching you guys get rich hahaha, another option if you don't get the best grade is to burn the school hahaha, I'm just kidding.

who give you permission to play with the structure of life? you shouldnt do that with living creatures
I just cannot believe this is real. Did someone really authorize for this genetically modified pets to be made? If so, isn't it unethical in some way? I would also like to know what exactly do these pets do when taken out of their packages. Thanks
