(19978) Total emails in database
Add about +2500 missing emails to that as I didn't start sending the emails to a database until November 2006. (a year and a half after genpets was created) Oh well. I doubt anyone will read more than 50 so That's still more than enough reading.
I was wondering how they were though of and what specific needs they might be for. I think they are an interesting product, but what would the public think or potential buyers. As far as science goes it is an amzing product, but what would a child think of it, I myself think it is alittle odd, I can only wonder what a seven year old would think. If you could develope a different friendly Genpet, then I think you would have much more sucsess. I'm no scientist, but those were a few thoughts I thought might pose a problem,

Personally, I think these things are cool but they're also pretty freaky. I wouldn't get one just because of time, but it is a really cool...thing. You could try to make them more visually pleasing.
Personally, i think this "Gen Pet" is pretty weird. I dont fully understand how it works as far as walking around and every day living but it is quite interesting. I'm not sure i would own one but i would love to spend a few hours with one just to see how everything works. If i really like it i might consider buying one. Although i do have some ideas on what you should make next. If at all possible, i think small, not terribly harmful dinosaurs would be awesome!!!
Personally, I think this "genpet" is pretty cool, unfortunately I thought at first they were fake but I'm changing my mind.

I think you should make a mini dragon that people can custom design them.

Genpets, I'm not sure about your product....it seems wrong to me I still dont know much about it yet but I plan to look into it. I do have some questions about your product, first off how much dose it cost? Also dose it feal pain and other physical and mental tings? What is your product made of? As of the purchaseing of your product, from what I know as of now I dont belive I would purchase one. For the future of your prouduct I think you should give them a better more "pet like" appereance (by this I mean fur, right now the just look to much like human babys to me) Thanks for reading and please respond.

I think that the Genpets are very cool. But kind of scary the they bite and bleed also the fact that they are alive. I would still like to own one. I would also like to know when they are comming in to stores in the United States, and how much do they are? I think you should make genpets that look like people or animals. It would also be cool if they could walk and talk.

Genpets are definently a foreshadowing of what is to come in the future and whether what is going to come is good or bad I can't really say. It blows my mind that a living thing with feelings and a personality can be engineered from technology. I think it is great that you have expanded the minds as to what our limits are with technology. I think genpets will open the eyes of the world and hopefully make people more accepting of the new technology that is to come. I hope to see more from you guys, such as, a genpet thats mobility isn't so limited. I do have one question, even though these genpets are considered as "living" pets is it still considered a robot since it was engineered from technology?

what will you do in the future if these things don't sell as good as you've hoped and they all die in there contaners? And what if people start making there own geneticaly altered beings, what if they make them to inforce their power, to creat armies. I for one wouldn't buy your product, puting animals in boxes to be selled on racks what if someone drops one and busts its head open? Instead of animals that will follow you around and get stepped on and killed by someone, make something that can tell or at least show you what it wants and remotly understand what your saying ,like a dog.
